Last week, I took my family to Awana Kijal Resort... again! hehehe
While driving at a leisurely speed of 110 - 120 km/h along the new East Coast Highway, I suddenly imagined myself riding a superbike zooming along the highway, and then just like a message...
Two superbikes zoomed past me, I estimate, at speeds of 150km/h. Due to some adrenalin rush, I accidentally stepped on the accelerator just a wee tad bit....
Mrs B: woi! you are not thinking of catching up with those bikes, rightttt?
B: eh? No lar... hehehe. Go back to sleep, shoo shoo *sheepish grin*
Then I started dreaming again. What if I sold my old Wira 1.5? Can get only RM20k wor. What bike can I get for RM20k?
Browsing the Spitfire Bikers forum (yeah, my brain stopped after this morning's gruelling meeting), a 2nd hand 2003 Honda CBR600RR already costs RM50 - 55k! Sheesh.. how to join Uncle Desmo's gang?
Then I saw an ad for a 1995 CBR600F3 for RM24k. Ahhh, this is more within my RM range but read read read, eh, sudah SOLD!
Next was an ad for a 1998 Yamaha Virago 250 for RM7.5k. YES! Masih ada harapan! OK lar, that's no superbike but better than nothing, right?
There was also a Kawasaki Vulcan EN500 going for RM9.5k in LiewCF's territory (re: Kluang, Johor). Hehe, won't mind going down to Kluang, meet LiewCF for breakfast at the train station and then riding this beast back to KL. :D
Reading on, I saw a few more ads for 2nd hand Virago's and Vulcan's for less than RM10k. Woohoo! Esok Masih Ada!
But then, I can hear the Menteri Kewangan dan Hal-Ehwal Dalam Keluarga, YAB Mrs B, saying "No means no, kapish?" *snap! - sound of fingers snapping*
Ok ok, I shall not risk getting ISA'd at my own home, heh! But this gives me an idea... what if after all the nego and the expected "nyet" answer, I then put in my "application" for a Sony Playstation Portable? Small matter, right? Muahahahar!
