Mom was discharged from the hospital on Sunday. She's recovering well from the operation wound. Many thanks to all for the well wishes and prayers. :) Previous post here.

Will be busy for the rest of the week. Why? Tax e-filing! Deadline for submission is 30 April. Trust me to be in the 90% population bracket. If it's not last minute, then I'm not Malaysian, bwahahahahaha!

Tomorrow's coronation day. How will you be spending it? As for me, time to clear the years of rubbish in the study room. And then, ambitious me plans to DIY setup the new Ikea computer workstation. Muahahahahar!

My mom has breast cancer
I left early from work yesterday i.e. at 6pm. Picked my mom up from home and off we went to UMSC. Traffic was good to us so we arrived before 7pm but we had to wait until 8.30pm before her name was called.
It's confirmed. At the age of 66, my mom has breast cancer but thankfully, only stage 1. Surgery is scheduled for Wednesday 18 April with 5 days of rest at the ward.
In the meantime, toddler SueAnne is having cough and high fever, Suzanne is having cough and Mrs B is down, floored, by flu, cough and high fever.
Me? I'm getting fatter.

An unforgetable birthday for Mrs B
Last week when baby SueAnne was in the hospital, we celebrated Mrs B's birthday. Unforgetable huh? Just before I went to the hospital in the evening, I bought a nice Tiramisu cake from our favourite bakery for RM28.
As usual, upon opening the suite's door, baby SueAnne would be happy to see us. She would gladly be in the arms of her paternal grandma who will pick her up and manja her favourite grandchild (at least I think she is lar, hehe). And SueAnne would be cosy cuddly in my mum's arms, that was until SueAnne saw the pretty cake box....
After a quick dinner in the room, the Tiramisu cake finally came out of the box at about 9pm. It was sprinkled liberally with coffee/mocca powder, which went nicely with the tiramisu cake. Mrs B liked the cake, not too sweet. Suzanne? She eyed the dark chocolates greedily. Baby? Just like her dad, "boss, semua taruh"!
Both the girls wanted to play with the cute/"kiut" cake box. No prizes for guessing who won the right to play with that box. Well, being the defacto Security Council there, Mrs B took away that "weapon of mass destruction" and gave them some food... cornflakes. Yeah, parents please take note - never leave home without it. Proof? There's me gal waving the V sign like an Ah Lian while munching and sharing her cornflakes with SueAnne... OMG! Me gal's becoming an Ah Lian! 0_o"

SueAnne's got Pneumonia
Darn.
Just admitted into hospital this morning. If it worsens, she has to go see a cardiac specialist.
I am scared, am so scared.
No blogging for the next few days.
Update @ 14/9:
Hi hi. thanks for the well wishes and prayers. SueAnne is not out of the woods yet but it looks like her fever is under control. Mrs B took leave since Monday to be with baby SueAnne at the hospital. I will update this page from time to time. Thanks.
Update @ 15/9:
The fever is gone, woohoo! But her lungs has not cleared yet. This morning, the paeditrician seemed optimistic so that must be good news, right?
Poor SueAnne. She has developed a phobia of ladies in green apparels (nurses). Guess she won't take up nursing or med in the future...
Update@24/9:
Hi hi! Apologies to all for the long long silence. Mrs B and I thank everyone for their prayers and well wishes. Baby SueAnne was discharged on Monday afternoon, 19/9. She is getting better day by day but has yet to fully recovered. Mrs B has been getting tiresome nights too as baby SueAnne sometimes get restless at night, thus waking us up.
My mom has come to stay with us the past two weeks to help out. We are so ever thankful to her, and this evening she will be going back to her own home. My eldest girl Suzanne seems to know that and last night she told me that she didn't want her grandma to go home. I guess there will be some crying tonight after dinner...
Again, thank you all for the prayers and best wishes. God bless you all. :)
