Last night, I was enjoying myself watching Anugerah Bintang Popular over TV3. Cilok, sung by Awie, AC Mizal, Afdlin Shauki and "the person who will spoil the song" Hans Isaac was very good, and their "samurai" entrance had me in guffaws.
Enjoyed watching Ogy Ahmad Daud and "sudah tiga cawangan" Salih Yacob emcee for the evening. They did liven up the atmosphere, and that sweet SPM 17A1 girl, Nur Amalina Che Bakri can handle herself well too. I'm impressed ;)
Later, when Dayang Nurfaizah came out singing a solo, my 5 year old girl Suzanne asked, "Daddy, why got brown hair?". I answered without thinking, "She go celup hair into karer". "Oh...", my girl replied and for a moment, she seemed to be in deep thought. Aiks? I hope she's not thinking of using her water colour to celup her hair!
Kudos to the organisers and sponsors for a nice awards presentation, but I don't read Berita Harian, and I better go check on my girl's water colours....

My SIL just went into fits yesterday when she found her daughter snipping out a chunk of her nice long hair that get caught in some chewing gum. :-/
