This morning, I created a simple daily organiser using MS Excel to plan and log my ToDo activities at office. Here's a screenshot of the Excel so you can recreate it yourself.
I am still using my old PalmV but more for personal information management rather than a detailed ToDo, hence this simple spreadsheet. The trick is to delete the ToDo's upon completion and if still outstanding, it gets into "Today's" ToDo list automatically because the date (shaded green) will change automatically using function "=NOW()".
Just to motivate myself, I also read the following quotes on focus.
It's not so much how busy you are - but why you are busy. The bee is praised. The mosquito is swatted. - Marie O'ConnerHere's hoping I can meet my deadlines. Dang... no time to "eye-exercise" also. Stare long long at computer screen can make your eye blur blur, you know? hehehe ;)
I cannot give you a formula for success, but I can give you the formula for failure - which is: try to please everybody - Herbert B.Swope
Peak performance leaders distinguish between job activities that they can control and those that they can't and they concentrate on what they can do. - Robert Kriegel
The secret of your future is hidden in your daily routine - Mike Murdock
