Charity Walkhunt at Sunway Pyramid - 15 May'05

*ahem* doing a bit of promo here...

My alumni is organising a charity walkhunt at Sunway Pyramid on 15 May 2005. The net proceeds will go to the Sri Shenbagavali Asram, an orphanage located in Sungai Besi. Sri Shenbagavali Asram cares for approximately 48 children, aged between 3-18 years. They stay in 2 houses, one each for boys and girls.

Last year on 10 April 2004, the alumni's hardworking Charity Team raised money to Rumah WAKE, a halfway home for women and children with HIV through a charity auction among the alumni members.

Whilst in 2002 and 2003, the Charity Team helped Miracle Home, an orphanage off Jalan Ampang, with Christmas gifts, a trip to the National Science Centre and a gotong-royong to clear the home of rubbish and lalang's.

This year's Charity Walkhunt at Sunway Pyramid will be the most ambitious todate as the team is looking to lot's of moolah for the Asram. Those kids really need the cash.

But wait! The Charity Team has also lined up "wahlaueh" prizes for the winners of the charity walhunt as well:

1st Place = RM1,000.00
2nd Place = RM500.00
3rd Place = RM250.00
4th – 13th Place = Consolation prize

The hunt is a TEAM event, between 2-3 members per team. The alumni hope to have 150 teams, so we are counting on all of you for support. Participation is open to every caring person, out for a good fun at Sunway Pyramid and doing good at the same time.

The participation fee is RM85 per team for Early bird price for registration & payment before 23rd April 2005) and RM100 per team as normal fee.

As for Belacan, I will be forming my own team but without Mrs B lah. I think she would prefer to go shopping rather than treasure hunting... hehehe. (prays that Belacan doesn't sleep outside the room tonight...)
